About Santhia
I’m Santhia Rose, a Certified Nurse-Midwife with a passion for women’s health and caring for women through some of the most important moments of their lives.
I began my career as a Labor & Delivery nurse, where I spent 10 years caring for women and their families. I later became a Certified Nurse-Midwife and have worked in both birth center and hospital settings. Throughout my career, I have cared for women across a wide range of needs and experiences, from low-risk pregnancies to more complex, high-risk situations.
I have also had the privilege of working with diverse and underserved populations, which has deepened my commitment to culturally responsive, patient-centered care.
I truly believe that healthcare should feel personal. I want my patients to feel heard, respected, and comfortable asking questions, while also feeling confident in the decisions they make about their care. My doctoral work focused on shared decision-making and helping patients make informed choices about prenatal genetic testing.
Outside of work, I’m a wife and mom, and I understand how busy and overwhelming life can be. I try to bring that same understanding and compassion into the way I care for my patients.
